JEAN-PAUL LE CLERCQ

Mr. Le Clercq is Of Counsel at Martorell Law APC, first having joined the firm in 2019, before moving to Of Counsel status in 2022. Since beginning his career in 2007, Mr. Le Clercq has served both individual and corporate clients throughout California in an increasingly diverse practice, including wrongful termination and discrimination/harassment claims, wage & hour and consumer protection class actions, legal malpractice, contract and business disputes, pharmaceutical product liability, and personal injury matters. Mr. Le Clercq has focused and specialized primarily in employment litigation since 2011, though he has continued to handle a wide variety of matters.

Mr. Le Clercq possesses extensive litigation experience, based on an efficient and forthright approach to the legal profession, including significant trial and arbitration experience. Mr. Le Clercq’s practical approach has earned him recognition from his peers, including selection as a Top 50 “Fast Track” attorney from The Recorder magazine in 2012 and as a “Rising Star” from Super Lawyers magazine from 2012 to the present.

A native of Malibu, CA, Mr. Le Clercq graduated from the University of California, San Diego, where he majored in political science and public law and minored in management science. Following his undergraduate studies, he earned his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Le Clercq earned a full-ride scholarship based on academic excellence, was an associate editor of the Pepperdine Law Review, and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
